Terms and Conditions
- Room Availability
Reserved rooms are available to guests starting from 2:00 pm. Unless a later arrival time has been expressly agreed, the hotel reserves the right to reassign reserved rooms after 6:00 pm. Guests do not acquire the right to a specific room or event space. If the agreed space is unavailable, the hotel is obligated to arrange an equivalent replacement on-site or at other properties. - Cancellation Policy for Accommodation
- Individual Guests (up to 4 rooms): Reserved rooms can be canceled in writing up to one day before arrival by 6:00 pm. After this time, an 80% cancellation fee will apply.
- Groups (5 - 10 rooms):
- Low occupancy periods: Cancellations made up to 7 days before arrival are free of charge; up to 3 days before arrival, a 50% fee applies; under 3 days, an 80% fee applies.
- High occupancy periods: Cancellations up to 14 days before arrival are free; up to 10 days, a 25% fee applies; up to 7 days, a 50% fee applies; under 7 days, an 80% fee applies.
- Large Groups (more than 10 rooms):
- 28+ days before arrival: Free cancellation.
- 28–22 days: 25% cancellation fee on the booked nights.
- 21–15 days: 50% cancellation fee.
- 14–8 days: 75% cancellation fee.
- 7–0 days: 80% cancellation fee.
If the reserved quota exceeds 200 nights, the cancellation periods will extend by 30 days.
- Extended Groups (20+ rooms):
- 42+ days before arrival: Free cancellation.
- 42–36 days: 15% cancellation fee.
- 35–29 days: 25% fee.
- 28–22 days: 50% fee.
- 21–8 days: 75% fee.
- 7–0 days: 80% fee.
If the agreed quota exceeds 200 nights, the above cancellation periods extend by 30 days.
- Event Cancellations
- 20–50 participants (rooms up to 100 m²): 2-week notice required.
- Up to 100 participants (rooms up to 200 m²): 4-week notice required.
If these deadlines aren’t met, the guest is fully liable for the agreed services. For unused rooms, a 20% cost savings applies. For consumption agreements, a 40% reduction is applied up to 48 hours before the event, with minimum room rental fees still applicable. Guests should submit participant lists 48 hours prior to arrival; otherwise, the hotel cannot guarantee proper arrangements.
- Deposit
If requested advance payments are not made by the specified date (or at least 30 days prior to arrival if unspecified), the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking. A valid credit card with expiration details can substitute as a security deposit. - Rates and Pricing
Quoted rates include service and VAT. Rates are subject to change for bookings over 180 days in advance or in cases of tax changes. Prices are quoted in euros; foreign currency listings are for reference only. - Billing and Payment
Guest bills are payable in full upon receipt. Invoices based on a credit agreement are due within 14 days; overdue payments are subject to 1% interest per month. Credit cards accepted: Visa and Mastercard. - Third-Party Claims
Rights arising from agreements with the hotel may not be transferred without the hotel’s consent. - Liability
Guests are responsible for damages caused by themselves or their guests. Liability for valuables is limited to legal provisions (up to €3,000 for room contents, €800 for money/valuables). Unlocked rooms or containers void liability. Valuables may be deposited at reception. - Check-Out
Guests should inform reception of departure by 10:00 am and check out by 11:00 am unless otherwise agreed. - Advertising
Use of the hotel’s name in advertising requires written permission. - External Services
The hotel may charge for facilitating third-party services but is not liable for them. - Wake-Up Calls
Wake-up calls are performed with care; the hotel accepts no liability for omissions. - Lost Property
Items left behind are stored for 6 months, after which they will be handed to the local lost property office if deemed valuable. - Jurisdiction
Munich is the place of jurisdiction for all disputes. German law applies. - Final Provisions
Changes to the contract or GTC must be in text form. Munich courts have exclusive jurisdiction. The hotel does not participate in consumer arbitration but provides a link to the EU’s online dispute resolution platform: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
